Suikamon News & Patch Notes
Updates, new species, balance changes, and beginner guides for Suikamon — the living virtual pet game.
- Battle Cards: A First Look at the Deck
A design preview of Battle Cards — a 16-card deck laid over PvP gestures, where every card does something. Browse them all now. One rule already shipped; the deck itself is not playable.
- Your Suikamon Can Wait: Care Time Cut
Stats now drain half as fast — a baby holds out 6 hours 15 minutes instead of three — and a good care minigame fills the bar outright.
- How to Win Battles: The 5 Clusters Explained
Every Suikamon plays one of five battle styles. Learn what each does, which move beats which, and how 4-turn bleeds and wounds change your turns.
- Effects That Last: Status & Cluster Rework
Bleed now ticks for 4 turns and Wound lasts 4 turns on its own timer — attacking no longer breaks it. Three Suikamon changed clusters, and the whole roster was re-tuned around it.
- Campaign Story: The Last Souls
The Suikamon Campaign tells The Last Souls: a 10-world story where you become the Keeper, chase the Soul-Eater, save 19 souls, and outwit the poachers of Team Fang.
- Care Minigames Arrive
Care actions now offer quick skill minigames for Feed, Train, and Clean, with bonus XP, happiness, and daily rewards for strong runs.
- Suikamon World Is Growing
More ways to sign in, more ways to pay, and more game modes on the way. Suikamon just got a lot bigger.
- Campaign Mode Beta: The Hollow Elder
Campaign Mode enters beta with two story worlds! Face the Hollow Elder — a level-30 Gorly — in the forest, or answer the Sunken Bell against the level-30 Drowned Warden in the deep.
- Squad Battles Beta
Squad Battles are now in beta. Build a team of 3 Suikamons, fight a full enemy squad, and climb a separate Trainer ladder built for team strategy.
- PVP Balance Pass — Levels 5 & 10
All 19 species received comprehensive base stat adjustments to improve competitive balance at levels 5 and 10. HP, damage, exploit bonuses, and special effect values were recalibrated across the full roster.
- Recover Buff — All Species +20%
Every Suikamon's Recover skill now heals 20% more HP, making defensive strategies and late-game endurance fights meaningfully stronger across the entire roster.
- New Species: Ray & Gorly
Two new Nature / Rare Suikamon join the roster. Ray is a quiet woodland bear that stacks bleed pressure to wear opponents down, while Gorly is a lazy blue jungle monster that punishes attackers and builds a shield to weather the return hits. Both are available to adopt now.
- What is Suikamon? Living Virtual Pets
Suikamon is a Tamagotchi-inspired virtual pet game. Adopt a living Suikamon, care for it daily, evolve it through multiple stages, and battle other trainers in turn-based PvP. Here's everything new players need to know.
- How to Adopt Your First Suikamon
Adopting a Suikamon takes just a couple of minutes. Sign in, pick a species by element and rarity, and confirm — your living pet is ready to raise. Here's the step-by-step.
- PvP Battle Guide: Master Turn-Based Combat
Suikamon PvP is a turn-based, rock-paper-scissors battle system with a strategic twist. Learn how Attack, Magic, Recover and Dodge interact, how elemental advantage works, and how to chain special effects into winning combos.
- Getting Started: Care, XP & Evolution
New to Suikamon? This getting-started guide covers the daily care loop — feeding, cleaning and training — plus how XP, leveling and evolution work so your Suikamon grows stronger and changes form over time.
- Season 5.1: Combat Rework
A major Season 5.1 combat rework reshapes the rock-paper-scissors core: Magic now decisively beats Dodge for full damage plus a guaranteed special effect, and elemental advantage jumps to +15 magic damage. To keep things balanced, every species' base magic damage has been retuned downward.
- Ranked Season Rework
Ranked play gets a fresh structure: trophy resets now scale by level (1000–1400) so each new season starts fair, and ranked battles cost 5 Suika to enter for higher-stakes climbing.
- New Species: Pikoto
Pikoto struts onto the roster — a grumpy farm bird obsessed with its muscles. This Common Nature Suikamon hits harder than most Commons but trades away HP to do it. Skip leg day at your own risk.
- New Species: Trixon
Trixon glides in — a beautiful, elegant blue dragon from Japan. This Epic Water Suikamon commands tidal currents and stuns opponents with serpentine grace, rewarding patient, control-focused trainers. Available to adopt now.
- Sell Suikamon
You can now sell hatched Suikamon back to the reserve straight from the care page. The payout scales with level and is credited to your Trainer balance as Suika, so you can reinvest it in your other pets.
- Mechanic Simplification
To make battle rules easier to understand, Precise Attack has been removed from the game. Attack now always loses to Dodge — no exceptions. Previously, six species (Zaricat, Pefareon, Talion, Voltaryx, Drago, Sumiya) had a 50% chance to hit through Dodge with their Attack. That exception caused confusion and made Dodge feel unreliable. Now the rule is simple: Dodge always beats Attack.
- Season 4.3 Balance
A comprehensive Season 4.3 balance pass touches all 15 species, retuning each one for a tighter win-rate spread between levels 5 and 20. Expect major buffs to Drago, Suimon, Fernail, Yeti and Hotpaw, with overperforming Commons and Rares pulled back into line.
- Balance Patch
The battlefield just got fairer. Drago, Talion, and Pefareon were dominating too hard — their HP and damage have been tuned down. Aqua, Voltaryx, and Sumiya were getting stomped in almost every fight — they've been powered up. No species should feel like a free win or a hopeless pick anymore.
- Free Battles & Smarter AI
All battle modes are now completely free to play — no Suika cost for Trial or Ranked battles! Jump in and fight as much as you want. AI opponents are also smarter now: they no longer always open with Attack, mixing in Dodge and Magic to keep you guessing from turn 1.
- Ranked Level Caps
Ranked battles now use ELO-based level caps to keep early brackets fair. Bronze pets (under 1400 trophies) fight at level 5. Silver (1400–1699) fight at level 10. Gold and above (1700+) keep the full level 20 cap. Your pet's effective level is clearly shown before every match.
- Attack Rework
Every species now has a unique named Attack with powerful special effects. Base damage is lower, but smart sequencing unlocks devastating combos. Random clicking is punished — strategy wins.
- Season 4
New rewards are here. The arena is open, climb the ranks and secure your SUIKAMON prizes before time runs out. A special reward awaits the first player to reach the top. Let the battle begin.
- PVP Level Cap & Gifts
All PVP battles now cap combat level at 20, higher-level pets deal bonus damage to weaker opponents, and climbing ranked tiers earns free Suikamon — Rare at Silver, Epic at Gold, Diamond, and Crown.
- ELO Tier Emojis
Every pet now displays a rank tier emoji next to its name based on Trophy (ELO) count — visible in the leaderboard, ranked battle selector, and all Telegram messages (PvP, battle, and play). Climb the tiers to show off your prestige!
- Faster Battles
Combat rebalance: HP reduction across all species for faster battles (~6 turns avg, down from ~20). Buff Drago and Suimon, nerf Bireon. Skill buttons now show level-scaled values. Dodge counter uses dodger's own attack stat.
- 3 New Species!
Three new species available: Sumiya, Drago, and Fernail.
