Getting Started: Care, XP & Evolution
New to Suikamon? This getting-started guide covers the daily care loop — feeding, cleaning and training — plus how XP, leveling and evolution work so your Suikamon grows stronger and changes form over time.
Once your Suikamon hatches, the day-to-day game is all about care. Your pet has six stats that gently decay over time — keeping them topped up is how you build a bond and earn XP.
Your Pet's Stats
- Hunger — keep your pet fed to maintain happiness
- Happiness — affects mood, XP gain, and overall health
- Energy — spent during Training; refills with Rest
- Health — falls if other stats are neglected; restore with Medicine
- Cleanliness — maintain with Clean actions to keep mood up
- Discipline — grows through Training; influences battle XP
Core Actions (Instant & Free)
- Feed — restores Hunger and Happiness
- Clean — resets Cleanliness and lifts mood
- Train — spends Energy to raise Discipline and spin an XP wheel
- Medicine — heals a sick or low-health pet
- Rest — slows stat decay while your Suikamon recovers Energy
XP, Leveling & Evolution
Every action earns XP, and XP drives leveling. When your Suikamon hits a level milestone, it becomes eligible to evolve — a permanent upgrade that changes its artwork to the next evolution stage and makes it stronger in battle.
Daily Streaks & Discovery
Daily care streaks grant bonus XP, and high-level pets unlock the Discovery system — where they can find brand-new rare eggs through gameplay. It's a loop that rewards dedicated trainers.
